Find your way around Everlong.
From your first home to the Shopping District, this guide has the essentials for making the most of your adventure. Pick a chapter from the list to get started.
Getting Started
Join using play.everlongsmp.com. Start at spawn, then use /explore to choose a destination. Read the rules, claim your first base, and set a home.
Everlong supports Java and Bedrock through cross-play. Some custom cosmetics and client mods may only work on Java.
Worlds & Travel
Use /explore to visit the survival Overworld, Nether, Trading Hall, or Shopping District. The End is currently closed. /spawn returns to the hub; /sethome and /home save and revisit your favorite places.
/tpa requests a teleport to another player. Certain commands may be disabled in event worlds.
Land Claims
Protect builds in the survival world with GriefPrevention. Your starting allowance is 1,000 claim blocks. Claim blocks help prevent griefing and unauthorized access.
Use a golden shovel to mark claim corners (where enabled), and check claim boundaries before building. Only grant trust to people you know. Claims cannot be created in the spawn world.
Useful Commands
/spawn — return to spawn
/explore — travel menu
/sethome — set a home
/home — teleport home
/tpa — request a teleport
/back — return to your previous location when permitted
Command availability depends on your rank and world.
Economy
Earn money by playing and trading. The playtime reward is configured at $100 per hour. Use your balance to trade with other players and buy eligible shop plots or server items.
Prices and rewards can change between seasons; check the current in-game listings.
Player Shops & Trading
Open a shop for free at your own claim or in your town, with the landowner’s permission. For an official Shopping District plot, visit /ShoppingDistrict and purchase a plot deed. Staff must approve and assign the plot before you build.
Shops are limited to 40 barrels each. Keep your stock and displays within your assigned area, clearly mark prices, and avoid lag-inducing storage or automation.
Supporter Ranks
Optional supporter tiers include Sprout, Grove, and Evergreen, offering convenience perks such as extra homes and claim blocks. Some higher tiers may provide utility commands.
Perks, prices, and renewal terms are governed by the current store listings. Always read the package description before purchasing.
Crates, Plushies & Companions
Collect decorative plushies, figures, crate rewards, and companions. Some items are seasonal, and certain custom content only works on Java Edition.
Store purchases may not carry over to future seasons unless the package explicitly says otherwise. Check each item’s details before purchasing.
Simple Voice Chat
Java setup: Install a compatible mod loader for your Minecraft version, then download the matching Simple Voice Chat mod. Put the downloaded .jar in your Minecraft instance’s mods folder and restart the game.
- Choose the correct Minecraft version and loader (Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, etc.).
- Launch Minecraft with that modded profile.
- Join Everlong and open the voice-chat menu (default key is usually
V). - Select your microphone and speaker, then test your input.
If you see a disconnected voice-chat icon, confirm the mod version, microphone permissions, and server voice-chat configuration. Bedrock players generally cannot install the Java client mod.
Java & Bedrock
Everlong welcomes both Java and Bedrock players. Join using the server address shown above. Bedrock clients may need a separately configured port; confirm the correct port with staff.
Custom resource-pack content and Java client mods may not display or function the same way on Bedrock.
Fair Play & Farms
Vanilla mob-spawner farms are allowed as long as entities and dropped items do not pile up or cause lag. All redstone contraptions require staff approval before use. Keep builds reasonably sized and follow staff performance guidance.
Read the complete server rules for details.
Help & Tickets
Need help with a purchase, claim, missing item, or another player? Open a Discord ticket and explain what happened. Screenshots, coordinates, and timestamps help staff investigate.
