Good neighbors make a great world.
Our rules are here to protect the little things that make Everlong special: your builds, your time, and the people you meet along the way. Please read through them before you begin your adventure.
Community & Chat
Respect one another
Treat members and staff with kindness. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threats, doxxing, intimidation, and deliberately provoking conflict are not permitted.
Keep conversations comfortable
Keep profanity to a minimum. Avoid excessive swearing, inappropriate remarks, spam, repeated pings, disruptive voice chat, and intentionally inflammatory topics.
Protect privacy
Do not share private messages, screenshots, recordings, or personal information to embarrass or target someone. Never record private voice conversations without permission.
Communicate responsibly
Public server and Discord chat should be in English for moderation. No unsolicited advertising, scams, suspicious links, or impersonation. Everlong is a 14+ community.
Community content
Do not post AI-generated content in Everlong community channels. Respect the server’s content guidelines and Discord’s policies.
Gameplay & Property
No griefing or stealing
Do not destroy, alter, loot, or interfere with another player’s builds, containers, animals, or belongings without their permission. This includes unclaimed builds.
Respect boundaries
Stay out of claimed land and private builds unless invited. Do not surround claims, block access, encroach on neighboring towns, or obstruct public areas.
Use commands fairly
Commands such as /tpa, /home, /back, and /warp are conveniences, not tools for trapping, spamming, stalking, or harassing players.
Build thoughtfully
Keep builds, skins, signs, and public spaces appropriate. Do not deliberately create lag, damage community areas, or retaliate against other players; report issues to staff instead.
Cheating & Exploits
Play fairly
Hacked clients, x-ray, item duplication, unauthorized exploits, and modifications that give unfair advantages are prohibited.
Do not bypass restrictions
Do not circumvent disabled mechanics, abuse alternate accounts, evade punishments, or manipulate rewards and the economy.
Report problems privately
Tell staff if you find a bug or exploit. Do not demonstrate it publicly or encourage others to use it. Illegitimately gained items may be removed; serious violations may lead to a ban.
Farms, Redstone & Performance
Vanilla spawner farms are allowed
You may build vanilla mob-spawner farms, provided they are controlled and do not create excessive entities, dropped items, or server lag. Staff may ask you to reduce or remove a problematic farm.
Avoid entity buildup
Keep mobs, villagers, animals, and dropped items at reasonable levels. Use collection and storage systems, and do not leave large groups of entities accumulating.
Redstone requires approval
Get staff approval before building or operating redstone contraptions or automated systems. Do not create lag machines, unnecessary chunk loaders, or systems that bypass restrictions.
Be considerate with farms
Keep farms reasonably sized and avoid AFK setups that create persistent server load. Staff may request changes whenever a build affects performance.
Towns & Communities
Create a welcoming town
Towns are encouraged! Each town needs an established leader, can have up to 20 members, and each player may belong to one town at a time.
Membership is voluntary
Players are free to join or leave a town. Leaders and residents must not pressure, bully, or harass anyone into staying.
Be good neighbors
Respect town claims, buildings, and community areas. Do not grief, steal, block expansion, or interfere with another town.
Ask before reclaiming
Inactive or abandoned towns are not automatically free to loot, demolish, or claim. Staff approval is required before taking over an abandoned area.
Shops & Marketplace
Choose where to sell
You can build a player shop for free within your own claim or town, with the property owner’s permission. To open a shop in the official Shopping District, purchase a shop plot deed at /ShoppingDistrict.
Shopping District plots
Buying a deed does not automatically grant building access. Wait for staff approval and plot assignment, then keep your shop and decorations inside your designated boundaries.
Storage limit: 40 barrels
Each player shop may have a maximum of 40 barrels. Keep storage organized and avoid excessive inventories or systems that affect performance.
Trade honestly
Clearly display prices and items. No misleading trades, scams, exploits, or tampering with another player’s shop. Keep your storefront appropriate and presentable.
Staff & Moderation
Follow staff guidance
Respect reasonable instructions from staff. If you disagree with a decision, appeal respectfully instead of arguing publicly or retaliating.
Consequences depend on severity
Staff may issue reminders, warnings, timeouts, kicks, item rollbacks, temporary bans, or permanent bans. Severe misconduct may result in immediate action.
Report concerns
Use the Discord help system to report griefing, scams, or other issues. Screenshots, coordinates, and timestamps are helpful. Do not evade punishments or exploit loopholes.
Thanks for helping Everlong feel like home.
When in doubt, choose kindness and ask staff for guidance.
